Most of the dishes are salads since that's what I've been in the mood for, and I did make a few modifications to suit my palate and use what was already in my fridge. November 2012 officially marks the first anniversary of this little blog of mine. I created Style Rhapsody one year ago as an outlet for me to share my enthusiastic love of fashion and to express my personal style. This blog has brought me on a fun and rewarding journey that I continue to learn from every day. Thank you to my husband for the love and support, and to my cousin and photographer, Eleanor, for patiently taking my outfit photos and lending a helping hand in the styling department. What's making me smile

November has never been a month that I enjoy. The days are short and dark, it's cold, and I find it to be a generally depressing time of year. But when I take the time to appreciate the little things, it really puts a smile on my face and gives me a more positive outlook on this month. Happy November!

What's making me smile

As summer slowly comes to an end, I've been taking the time to savour every last minute of my favourite season. Simple pleasures like eating outdoors or watching my daughter play in the sun will soon be replaced with the crisp Autumn air that leads to cooler temperatures, and finding ways to enjoy more of our time indoors. Here's a glimpse of my end of summer delights as we transition into Fall.
