Hello? Is anyone still there? If you're still following along, thank you. It's been a while since my last post (though I've been active on Instagram) and my absence here was very intentional. I haven't felt motivated or inspired, and since this space is something I do truly enjoy, I thought a blogging break was needed in order to get back to producing content I want to post when I want. I even stopped reading other style blogs altogether because they were starting to melt into the same blog for me; every fashion blogger is wearing the same Valentino heels, carrying the same Celine bag, or even styling their homes in the same colour palette. 

Needless to say, it was getting tiresome and with the lack of inspiration, styling, shooting and writing a post took a lot more effort and I didn't have the energy for it anymore. Now I'm back because I want to be. I'm committing to staying true to my own personal style and posting what I genuinely love. I hope you enjoy it and thanks, as always, for reading.

I'm currently having a love affair with achromatic outfits. I've pushed aside the rainbow of colour in my closet until Spring arrives and for now, will stick to classic black and white. A swipe of red on the lips is all the colour I need. Simplicity at its best.

November 2012 officially marks the first anniversary of this little blog of mine. I created Style Rhapsody one year ago as an outlet for me to share my enthusiastic love of fashion and to express my personal style. This blog has brought me on a fun and rewarding journey that I continue to learn from every day. Thank you to my husband for the love and support, and to my cousin and photographer, Eleanor, for patiently taking my outfit photos and lending a helping hand in the styling department. Last but not least, I thank you, my readers, for your encouraging comments and making this first year of blogging so special.
