The moment I read Monika's post about the peony farm she visited, I knew I had to go. Eleanor and I made the trip out to Flowers From A Country Garden and were immediately in flower heaven. There were buckets of peonies in all shades and the hardest part was deciding what colour to take home. We shot these photos on the farm's beautiful grounds and I love the way they turned out. I'll definitely be back in the summer to pick up some sunflowers once they're in bloom.

When I posted a flat layout of this #ootd on Instagram it drummed up a lot of interest, which is why I decided it should become its own outfit post on the blog. I've been wearing a lot of HRH Collection clothing as of late because the pieces have an effortless flow and ease that I'm looking for as the weather gets warmer. The fact that it feels like I'm wearing pyjamas is an added bonus.

I've loved palm trees from the moment I first laid eyes on them and the infatuation has only grown over the years. My travel destinations almost always include a place where they grow abundantly so that I can revel in their tropical presence (and take lots of photos of them too). It's no surprise that I'm drawn to clothing and accessories with pretty palm patterns - my favourite is the romper with the adorable pom pom hem. You can shop more of my palm picks below!

Bold Neon

I never thought I'd be bold enough to wear head-to-toe neon, but this hot pink ASOS maxi dress ended up being the ideal piece to wear on the beach in Hawaii last month. It was so eye-catching that a woman came up to my family and I and insisted that she take family photos for us (she took over 20). If you're ever in need of someone to help take your picture, wearing a neon dress may do it without you even having to ask :)

The last time I wore Keds I was in elementary school and I still remember the smell of the canvas with each new pair that I broke in for the school year. When I saw these silver chevron sneakers, I knew it was time to break the Keds drought in my shoe wardrobe and add them to my collection. For those of you who aren't into silver, they also come in metallic gold chevron and are now on sale! Happy shopping :)

Fact: I have cherry blossom fever and it has now extended to my clothing in the form of this romper. The long sleeves and open back, along with the cherry blossom pattern, made this playsuit a must-have and it was perfect for my recent trip to Hawaii. Since it's #throwbackthursday, here are some photos taken in early April when it was pouring rain and the brown leaves were still hanging onto the trees. This is in stark contrast to today's weather, which completely feels like summer! Regardless of sun or rain, my go-to colour palette lately (or lack thereof) works no matter the season. Mint Moment

Mint has been having its moment in the fashion world for a few seasons now and I'm still enamoured with it. All of these mint pieces were purchased from Zara almost two years ago and are still in heavy rotation every spring, especially at Easter. Our house is currently full of my daughter's chocolate bunnies and Easter eggs, I think I'm going to have to snag a few for myself to snack on ;)

I love April. Not only is it my birth month, but it's also when new life is being breathed into nature. Every Spring I look forward to seeing the cherry blossom trees burst into fluffy pink and white flower clouds delicately suspended in the air from its branches. It's a short-lived season, which is why I take every opportunity I can to photograph cherry blossoms in all their glory - just check my Instagram feed for proof!
