Crop tops have made a comeback and they have a much more sophisticated look than the Britney Spears midriff baring days. The key to wearing them now is to pair them with a high-waisted bottom so that you're only showing a small sliver of skin; think high-waisted pencil skirt, denim cut-offs, cigarette pants or flared trousers. Double Denim

I honestly never thought I'd wear denim on denim (or the Canadian tuxedo, as it's also known), because the look never appealed to me. But fashion can be surprising and over time it can change your outlook on certain styles. I inadvertently threw together my heart-print chambray (last seen here) with my dark denim skinny jeans and voila, a double denim outfit that was cute and effortless for a day of running errands.
