The nautical trend is a classic look that's always fresh and in style. You can't go wrong with sailor stripes and crisp shades of red, blue, black and white. I was super excited to see that Marionberry Style's Trend of the Month challenge for January was stripes. It's a pattern that really goes with anything, and there are quite a number of striped pieces in my closet. I decided to pair my classic black and white stripes with some camo print, and accessorized with this chartreuse scarf I scored at J. Crew during their Boxing Week sale. I've been crushing on this neon yellow colour as of late and it reminds me of Spring, which can't come soon enough!
