Off Duty

{ Leather Jacket: H&M // Top: Urban Outfitters (old) // Tulle Skirt: Ruche (last seen here) // Belt: Wilfred // Booties: ShoeMint // Bag: Badgley Mischka // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban // Jewelry: OASAP necklace (c/o); HRH Collection Original Ombre bracelet }

This leather jacket was the one piece I had my eye on ever since H&M revealed their New Icons collection. The genuine leather, motorcycle style and zipper details meld into the perfect combination of street style cool to create a look that H&M touts as "model-off-duty." I do admire the styles of models like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Miranda Kerr, so if there's a piece that will emulate their chic off duty style, I'll take it!

Hey, Sailor!

The nautical trend is a classic look that's always fresh and in style. You can't go wrong with sailor stripes and crisp shades of red, blue, black and white. This inspiration board has me imagining a summer day lounging on a boat with golden rays of sunshine and the sparkling cerulean sea. Are you ready to sail away?

PS: if you're smitten with the adorable iPANEMA flip flops, be sure to visit the blog next week...I just might be giving away a similar pair ;)

Casual Leopard

{ Leopard Coat: H&M // Tee: from random boutique // Faux Leather Leggings: Wilfred Free "Daria" via Aritzia // Shoes: Converse // Bag: BCBG Max Azria (old) // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban "Wayfarer" // Ring: HRH Collection "Gilded Girl" }
This leopard coat is the newest addition to my wardrobe that I scored on major sale at H&M for only $20. I kind of wish it had faux leather sleeves instead but I can't argue with the price. Anyone that knows me knows I love a great bargain and sharing my finds. So here I am, sharing this steal with you!

For this look I dressed down the leopard print with sneakers, liquid leggings and a graphic tee. Leopard print is surprisingly versatile for casual or dressy outfits, and I really do believe it acts as a great neutral.

How do you wear leopard?

Return of the Skort

{ Denim Jacket: H&M (worn here & here) // Blouse: J. Crew // Skort: Zara // Shoes: BCBGirls (old) // Wallet: Vince Camuto (similar, won from O My Heart!) // Sunglasses: Prada // Jewelry: Forever 21 earrings; DIY bracelet; BCBG Max Azria ring }
I haven't worn a skort (shorts + skirt) since middle school and honestly thought I'd never wear them again. I also felt the same way about leggings but now I can't imagine life without them. So here I am wearing a skort again, which I am completely in love with. Other things making me happy? The fact that my shirt serendipitously matches the magnolia tree in these photos and that today is my birthday! I have the day off and will be spending it with my husband. Not sure what he has planned but I'll find out soon!

Let your clothes do the talking with a graphic tee! I have to say that I completely agree with the statement made on #6 :)

Cut it Out

{ Jacket: Zara // Sweater: T. Babaton "Bailey" // Jeans: G21 via Walmart // Belt: Old Navy // Shoes: Zara // Bag: Louis Vuitton // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban // Jewelry: Brooklyn Designs short necklace; Front and Company long necklace; JewelMint ring }
Cut out details in clothing makes for an interesting detail that I adore. This sweater is made all the cuter with the cut out back and silk ribbon ties. And if you follow me on Instagram, you'll recognize these camouflage jeans I posted a few weeks back that I was debating whether or not to keep. As you can see, I decided to keep them. Thanks to everyone who helped me make my decision and have a happy weekend!

Blocking Brights

{ Blouse: T. Babaton "Tinsley" via Aritzia // Pants: H&M (old, similar here) // Shoes: Stuart Weitzman // Bag: Coach (old) // Sunglasses: House of Harlow "Chelsea" // Jewelry: bfrend Flora bracelet; Social Experiment ring }

Over the four-day Easter long weekend, we were blessed with nothing but gorgeous blue skies and sunshine. This kind of weather always makes me want to dress in vibrant colours and this outfit is proof of that. Don't be afraid to colour block your brights from head to toe! Give it a try and I'll bet you'll be smiling as brightly as Little Miss Sunshine.
