Today I'm taking yoga wear to the streets! A quick change from yoga pants to white skinny jeans and my trusty pair of black pumps* allows this racerback tank from Inner Fire to do double duty on and off the mat (do you see the hidden word inside the word?). If you're looking for yoga wear that's inspirational, fun and will put a smile on your face, check out Inner Fire's shop! It's full of clever shirt designs like "I'm Just Here for the Savasana," beautiful infinity scarves, and accessories for your yoga lifestyle. What's your favourite piece?

Audrey Hepburn once said Paris is always a good idea, but until I can get myself there again, this Paris print boyfriend tee from ASOS will have to do.

Little Miss Sunshine

{ Blouse: Old Navy (last seen here) // Faux Leather Skater Skirt: ASOS // Shoes: Christian Louboutin // Sunglasses: Prada // Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs // Jewelry: Joe Fresh necklace (similar); Anjolee eternity ring (c/o) }
I'm linking up with Marionberry Style's Trend of the Month challenge today, which is yellow! It's the perfect shade to brighten a gray day, especially when it's colour blocked with purple (my favourite hue). Colours have such a strong effect on your mood and for me, jewelry is just as effective, especially when it's sparkly and bright.

Anjolee recently gave me the opportunity to customize a piece of jewelry from their website, which is full of beautiful pieces from diamond engagement rings, bracelets and pendants to anniversary rings and earrings. Talk about eye candy! I eventually chose this gemstone and diamond eternity ring with alternating amethysts and diamonds (in this case mine has CZ stones since it's a sample). The style is simple and classic, and I think it'd be fun to stack a bunch of them on one finger! How would you wear this ring?

Channeling Carrie

{ Denim Jacket: H&M // YSL Tee: vintage via Front & Company (old) // Tulle Skirt: Ruche (sold out, similar here and here) // Shoes: Christian Louboutin // Bag: Chanel // Sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs // Lipstick: MAC "Candy Yum Yum" }
I'm officially ready to ditch the tights, as you can see here. It feels so good to go out with bare legs, even if it's still a little premature temperature-wise. To keep warm, my Spring uniform this season is revolving around my denim jacket (last seen here). It's a fantastic piece for layering and perfect for dressing down items like this tulle skirt. I'm definitely having a Carrie Bradshaw moment in this skirt (who can forget her iconic outfit from Sex and the City's opening credits?) and I love it.

Flapper

{ Bomber Jacket, Necklace & Ring: H&M // Dress: Sugarlips (c/o) // Turtleneck: T. Babaton "Keaton" via Aritzia // Shoes: Christian Louboutin // Bag & Sunglasses: Chanel }
Little white dresses are my weakness, and this one I'm wearing from Sugarlips is a welcome wardrobe addition with its fringe hemline that reminds me of a 20s flapper girl. Since it's not quite warm enough to wear on its own (I'm dreaming of summer days when I can wear the dress with these sandals), I layered on a black turtleneck and tights for a classic black and white colour combination.

I hope everyone has a great weekend (who's celebrating St. Patrick's Day?) and thanks for reading!

Layered Shirtdress

{ Coat: T. Babaton // Dress: Talula "Fleetwood" // Chambray Shirt: H&M // Shoes: Christian Louboutin // Bag: Louis Vuitton // Sunglasses: Prada // Jewelry: Costa Blanca necklace; Forever 21 pearl bracelets; wrap bracelet from NYC street vendor }
{ Photographed by Eleanor Chow }

My love for this lace dress has been well documented on this blog (seen here, here and here) and I take any opportunity I can to wear it all year round. In addition to a camisole and two pairs of tights, I layered my heart-print chambray shirt underneath the dress to make it more suitable for the cold. I threw on my wool and cashmere blend coat on top (buttoned all the way up after outfit photos were taken, of course!) and I was good to go.

Minty Autumn

{ Top: H&M // Cargo Pants & Clutch: Zara (old) // Shoes: Christian Louboutin // Sunglasses: Karen Walker "Number One" // Mint Watch: Anthropologie (sold out, similar here) // Spike Bracelet: ASOS }

{ Photographed by Eleanor Chow }

Mint in the Fall? I say why the heck not! Just play down light pastel colours with darker tones and you've got a look that's more seasonally appropriate. I fully intend to integrate my mint jeans into an Autumnal outfit since they were a favourite of mine to wear in the Spring. Don't worry Tim Gunn, I'll "make it work."

Bedazzled Camouflage

{ Camouflage Shirt: Zara // Tee: Brandy Melville // Bandeau: Aritzia // Jeans: Levi's // Shoes: Christian Louboutin // Bag: Zara // Sunglasses: Karen Walker "Number One" // Watch: Nixon // Jewelry: Spike the Punch necklace; ASOS spike bracelet; cuff from NYC street vendor }

{ Photographed by Eleanor Chow }

There's nothing like some rhinestones to make camouflage more girly and pretty. This shirt is a great layering piece for transitioning between seasons, and the jewels on the pocket add just the right amount of bedazzled shine. I decided to add a bit more eye candy with a rhinestone necklace, because a girl can never have too much sparkle.

Colour blocking was big in 2011 and the trend is still going strong this year. I never thought I'd be one to wear two bright colours together but it just seems to work when it's balanced with black and a neutral leopard belt. As the weather improves, I know I'll be turning to the bright hues in my wardrobe to colour block not only neons, but pastels too. Is this a trend you'll be trying this Spring? Let me know in the comments! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
