Minty

{ Jacket: Zara // Blouse: H&M // Jeans: Levi's // Shoes: Pour La Victoire // Bag: Louis Vuitton // Sunglasses: House of Harlow "Chelsea" // Watch: Gucci // Jewelry: Christina M. Boutique bracelet (c/o); Forever 21 earrings // Nails: Essie "Butler, Please" }
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! Stopping in for a quick hello to share this minty shade of green I'm wearing to get in the spirit for today's holiday (which may also include imbibing in a green beverage of some sort as I head off to brunch). Enjoy your Sunday!

Skater Skirt

{ Sweater: Zara // Faux Leather Skater Skirt: ASOS // Tights: Joe Fresh // Booties: Zara // Scarf: Matthew Williamson for H&M // Bag: Chanel // Sunglasses: Gucci // Jewelry: HRH Collection La Lumiere bracelet & Gilded Girl ring }
 { Photographed by Eleanor Chow }

A flared faux leather skirt is something that's been on my wish list for a while and I found the perfect one at ASOS. I love this piece because it fits right into my style: feminine and flirty with a little edge. Since the grey Vancouver skies were a little depressing, I paired the skirt with my neon pink sweater and some sparkly jewels to add a little brightness to the day. It seemed to have worked on the weather gods because we're forecast to have five straight days of sunshine, woohoo! Happy weekend and thanks for reading!

Olive It

{ Jacket: H&M Kids (old, last seen here) // Tee: Zara // Coated Leggings: OASAP (c/o) // Boots: Aldo // Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs // Sunglasses: House of Harlow 1960 // Watch: Gucci // Jewelry: olive + piper necklace (c/o); Brandy Melville ring }
{ Photographed by Eleanor Chow }

I was recently introduced to olive + piper, an online jewelry boutique based out of my city, Vancouver. I'm always an advocate for supporting local businesses and this new discovery means that I don't have to search any further than my backyard for on-trend accessories, like this Mira Spike necklace. The boutique's name is adorable too; olive plays on the phrase "I love," and I think it's safe to say that everything they carry makes me say "olive it!"

Lucky for you, olive + piper has offered Style Rhapsody readers a special promotion for 10% off any order with the code OLIVEMARISA. I've got my eyes on the beaded love bracelet, cable bow earrings and Chloe rope necklace. Which pieces are making you say "olive it?" The code expires on Sunday, December 2, so get shopping!

Tenderheart

{ Sweater: Old Navy // Faux Leather Shorts: Forever 21 (similar) // Sandals: Fergalicious by Fergie // Bag: Badgley Mischka // Sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs // Watch: Gucci // Rings: Brandy Melville }
{ Photographed by Eleanor Chow}

When my husband saw me in this heart sweater he said it was cute and that I looked like a Care Bear (in a good way). I'd say that's a fair description! Tenderheart is the Care Bear with a big red heart on his chest who "helps others to be the most caring they can be." If that's who I'm emulating when wearing this sweater, that's not such a bad thing to be. Spread the love :)

Flower Bed

{ Peplum Top: Zara // Skirt: Topshop (similar here and here) // Shoes: Stuart Weitzman (old, last seen here) // Watch: Gucci // Bag & Sunglasses: Chanel // Jewelry: HRH Collection Original Silver Cuff necklace; JewelMint Tough Love rings }

{ Photographed by Eleanor Chow }

I wasn't intending to wear three different floral prints together but it just sort of happened this way when I got dressed. To keep myself from looking overly girly, I put on one of my much-loved chains from HRH Collection to toughen up the look. Alex, the talented girl behind HRH Collection, just re-launched her online store yesterday with some new designs! If you're a fan of her jewelry like I am, check out her site and get it while it's hot!

Pretty in Peplum

{ Peplum Top (current) & Faux Leather Pants: H&M // Shoes: Aldo (old) // Clutch: ASOS (last seen here) // Sunglasses: Prada // Watch: Gucci // Jewelry: DeLysh Design GLAM bracelet (gifted via The-Unprecedented); HRH Collection Arctic ring }

{ Photographed by Eleanor Chow }

It's no surprise that I have a love affair with mint green right now (seen here, here, here and here), so when I finally spotted this mint peplum beauty at my local H&M I quickly snatched it up. The detailed Broderie Anglaise on the front and the zip-up back on this top makes it that much more special, don't you think?

Fashion Finds

{ Jacket: H&M Kids // Tank: Zara // Crochet Shorts: OASAP // Tights: Nordstrom // Shoes: Tory Burch // Bag: Chloe // Sunglasses: Gucci // Watch: Michael Kors //
Jewelry: gifted necklace; JewelMint Ever Frost Ring & Morning Star Bangle }

{ Photographed by Eleanor Chow }

Would you believe that I found this jacket at the kids section in H&M? It was also 50% off, and rang up to a cool $17. Another great find are these black crochet shorts from OASAP, an online store that specializes in women's street fashion. I first saw them on Kerri's blog and made a mad dash to buy them. They also come in a soft cream colour, which I am going back for.

And if you haven't entered my giveaway for a Christina M. Boutique wrap bracelet yet, go do it now! The winner will get her choice of either a pale pink or mint green Camilla Wrap Bracelet, which will perfectly complement any outfit this Spring. The giveaway ends on Tuesday, April 17th. Have a great weekend!

Neon Splash

{ Blazer & Jeggings: H&M // Sweater: Zara // Scarf: Matthew Williamson for H&M // Shoes: BCBGirls // Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs // Sunglasses: Dior // Watch: Gucci // Jewelry: HRH Collection bracelet; random silver ring, BCBG rhinestone ring }

{ Photographed by Eleanor Chow }

I absolutely loved neon in the '80s, and I mean LOVED. There are old photos of me showing how I completely embraced the neon trend, from my neon green leggings, neon pink slouch socks, multi-neon-coloured top, and neon orange scrunchie...all in one outfit. These days I'm taking a more restrained approach to the neon trend. I toned down this neon pink sweater from Zara (that I got on sale for $16. Score!) with neutral grey jeans and a black blazer. Adding the bright scarf provided the perfect punch of extra colour I was looking for.

Arctic Chill

{ Coat: vintage (from my mom) // Sweater Dress: random from Shanghai // Bag: Chanel // Sunglasses: Roberto Cavalli // Watch: Gucci // Ring: BCBG Max Azria }

{ Photographed by Eleanor Chow }

We've been experiencing one solid week of snow and honestly, I'm done with it. I prefer the mild Vancouver winters of years past when the cherry blossoms would start to sprout in late February, but I don't think that will be happening this year. At least my little girl is enjoying it. Charlotte made her first snowman last weekend and I think she's pretty darn cute bundled up in her winter gear. Stay warm everyone! Happy Weekend!
