I have been living in this oversized blanket scarf from Zara. It's been keeping me warm since the temperature has dipped below zero, and the tartan/plaid patterns are right on point this season. Double the plaid, double the fun!

Over the four-day Easter long weekend, we were blessed with nothing but gorgeous blue skies and sunshine. This kind of weather always makes me want to dress in vibrant colours and this outfit is proof of that. Don't be afraid to colour block your brights from head to toe! Give it a try and I'll bet you'll be smiling as brightly as Little Miss Sunshine.

It's hard to believe but I used to dislike leopard print with a passion up until a couple of years ago. Then again, I used to hate eating papaya and now it's one of my favourite fruits. It just goes to show how your tastes can change, and when they do, it opens up a whole new world to experience. I have to say I'm sartorially enjoying the versatility of these feline spots and how they can act as a neutral. So cheers to leopard print (and to papaya). Happy Friday!

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope 2013 is treating you well so far. As much as I enjoy the holiday festivities, it's kind of nice to be back in a regular routine and I'm kicking it off with this post, the first of the new year! I'm really enjoying layering faux fur vests this winter and this outfit is no exception. If you haven't worn faux fur vests yet, try one out! I wasn't intending to wear three different floral prints together but it just sort of happened this way when I got dressed. The Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver is one of the most beautiful hotels I've been in. Eleanor and I enjoyed a Sunday afternoon there brunching at their restaurant, Hawksworth, freshening up in their luxe washroom and shooting my outfit photos. We had to take a photo of our shoes together too. How cute are her turquoise Zara flats? If we wore the same size shoe I would borrow them! Looks like I'm just going to have to get a pair of my own.
