Romper. Jumper. Playsuit. Whatever you want to call these adult onesies, I highly recommend getting one for yourself. A top and bottom that's attached together makes throwing something on in the morning so simple. The not so easy part? Going to the washroom. It's a small sacrifice to pay in that department when a piece like this is so cute but I seriously think designers should start putting snaps in the crotch area. Like a bodysuit. Or a baby onesie. Who's with me on this?

Summer Basics

{ Coat & Shorts: H&M (old) // Tank Top: Babaton "Bowie" via Aritzia // Sandals: Sam Edeman "Trina" // Bag: Chanel // Sunglasses: Karen Walker "Number One" // Jewelry: OASAP earrings (c/o); DIY necklace; Bfrend bracelet }
Summertime is all about easy dressing and it doesn't get any easier than with essentials like denim shorts and a white tank. Throw in some neutrals and you're good to go.

On another note, if you use Google Reader, you know that it's shutting down on July 1. If you don't already, you can follow Style Rhapsody on Bloglovin! I've been using it to keep track of my favourite blogs for over a year and it's the best for ease of use and efficiency. Give it a try, and happy long weekend to my fellow Canadians!

Mint Julep

{ Blazer: H&M // Dress worn as top: Target (last seen here) // Jeans: Zara (old, similar) // Shoes: Pour La Victoire (similar) // Bag: Louis Vuitton // Sunglasses: Tom Ford // Watch: Michael Kors // Bracelets: HRH Collection and bfrend }
With the Kentucky Derby happening this weekend, I got inspired by the colours of the race's official drink, the mint julep. Interestingly enough, I wore almost the exact same outfit last year, but turning my dress into a top and adding a pair of mint jeans changes the look completely.

Update: I'm now sharing this look on IFB's latest project: Show Us Your Stripes!

Blocking Brights

{ Blouse: T. Babaton "Tinsley" via Aritzia // Pants: H&M (old, similar here) // Shoes: Stuart Weitzman // Bag: Coach (old) // Sunglasses: House of Harlow "Chelsea" // Jewelry: bfrend Flora bracelet; Social Experiment ring }

Over the four-day Easter long weekend, we were blessed with nothing but gorgeous blue skies and sunshine. This kind of weather always makes me want to dress in vibrant colours and this outfit is proof of that. Don't be afraid to colour block your brights from head to toe! Give it a try and I'll bet you'll be smiling as brightly as Little Miss Sunshine.

Citron

{ Jacket: H&M // Blouse: Old Navy (on sale!) // Wax Coated Jeans: H&M // Shoes: Tory Burch "Reva" // Clutch: Zara (old) // Jewelry: gifted necklace; bfrend Flora bracelet, ASOS spike bracelet, wrap bracelet from NYC }
Be prepared to see a lot more of this neon yellow colour on the blog. I became obsessed with it ever since I purchased a chartreuse scarf (seen here) and it's such a smile-inducing, happy colour. I wore this citron blouse with my wax coated black skinnies and oxblood moto jacket for a transitional Winter-to-Spring look, and can't wait to pair it with some lighter, brighter colours once Spring has made its official debut.

I hope your  weekend is filled with sunshine, and to those who observe Daylight Savings Time, don't forget to spring your clocks forward by one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night!

Fall Foliage

{ Sweater: Zara (old) // Crochet Shorts: OASAP // Tights: Joe Fresh // Boots: Kensie (old) // Bag: Louis Vuitton // Sunglasses: Tory Burch // Jewelry: Forever 21 spike bracelet; MONIKALOVE Flora bracelet by bfrend; JewelMint Blanc Bomb ring }
 { Photographed by Eleanor Chow }

The vibrant red, orange and yellow hued leaves are one of my favourite aspects of Fall. I also love being able to pull out my cozy sweaters to wear with tights and boots. This slouchy brown pair of boots have been an Autumn staple of mine for at least the last four years. For more inspiration on Fall boots, check out Marionberry Style, who I'm linking up with today. Happy All Hallow's Eve!

Back to Basics

{ Blouse: c/o Sugarlips (sold out but great options here & here) // Jeans & Belt: Old Navy // Shoes: Zara (old) // Bag: Chanel // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban // Jewelry: HRH Collection Sheik necklace; MONIKALOVE Flora bracelet by bfrend; H&M ring }
{ Photographed by Eleanor Chow }

You can never go wrong with basic pieces like a white blouse, dark denim and neutral pumps. I especially love the diamond cut-out on this blouse from Sugarlips (I'm a fan of open-back detailing, as seen here and here) because it gives a special twist to a simple silhouette. Add some gold accessories, a classic black handbag, and a tiny splash of animal print and you've got a foolproof outfit.

Have a fabulous weekend and Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians!

Hot Child in the City

{ Bustier Dress: Victoria's Secret PINK (old, similar) // Sandals & Sunglasses: H&M // Bag: Zara // Jewelry: Wolf Circus ring; ASOS spike bracelet; bfrend hot pink Golden Cobra bracelet; H&M necklace and earrings }
{ Photographed by Eleanor Chow }

Floral, fringe, plus a dash of spikes and skull studs. Juxtaposing feminine pieces with edgier ones is something I don't ever tire of. Have a great weekend everyone! I'm going to enjoy what's left of summer's hot, hot heat!

After the Storm

If you live in Vancouver then you would've experienced the crazy thunderstorm we had Tuesday evening. The wild rain and flashes of lightening were quite the spectacle to watch, and it gave the city a much needed cool-down. This gave me the opportunity to wear my fun, horse-print blouse and style it into a Summer look that will also transition well into Fall, which is coming up more quickly than I'd like to admit! Enjoy the weekend and thank you all for reading!
