November has never been a month that I enjoy. The days are short and dark, it's cold, and I find it to be a generally depressing time of year. But when I take the time to appreciate the little things, it really puts a smile on my face and gives me a more positive outlook on this month. Happy November!

What's making me smile

As summer slowly comes to an end, I've been taking the time to savour every last minute of my favourite season. Simple pleasures like eating outdoors or watching my daughter play in the sun will soon be replaced with the crisp Autumn air that leads to cooler temperatures, and finding ways to enjoy more of our time indoors. Here's a glimpse of my end of summer delights as we transition into Fall.
