There's something undeniably feminine about the slightly pinky shade of rose gold. I'm quite enamored with this pretty metal that's used in both jewelry and as an accent hardware on handbags. Here are a few of my rosy picks.
Last night's Academy Awards marked the high point of awards season fashion and the red carpet served up a bevy of breathtaking gowns. Like my wrap-up of my favourite Golden Globes dresses, I'm sharing my top five styles from the Oscars (photos via Getty Images).

I've always been a bit of a homebody and the cold weather we had a few weeks ago provided the perfect opportunity to do an indoor shoot. As much as I enjoy going out, I really savour spending some quality time inside the house. My cat Peanut, on the other hand, would probably much rather be exploring the realm of the outside world but he's a house cat (we tell him it's for his own good).
PS: I don't actually wear shoes in the house. I am Asian! I put my flats on to complete the outfit since my bright pink Crocs that I use as house slippers aren't exactly the most fashionable footwear ;)

Although Valentine's Day has passed, I often view all 28* days of February as the month of love (*this year's a leap year though! 29 days). In honor of all the love I'm feeling in the air, I captured a few images of things that have struck my heart.

Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend? Our family has been run down with a cold so we stayed home trying to recuperate. Hopefully we'll all be 100% soon. In the meantime, I've put together outfits inspired by supermodel Gisele Bündchen and her cute little Brady boy.

The first hints of Spring are starting to infuse the air and I'm really enjoying the longer, brighter days. I'm also happy to see all the Spring fashions that are filling up the stores. As much as I enjoy neon for Spring, I equally love the softness of pastels. Pink and grey is a favourite colour combination of mine and this pastel outfit is a lighter take on the neon version I last wore here.
Happy Valentine's Day loves! Any big plans to celebrate Cupid and his arrow? The hubs and I are going out to dinner while our little girl sleeps over at Grandpa's. Yay! I hope you enjoy the day with the one(s) you adore, and indulge in some sugary treats. Afterall, it is the sweetest holiday :)
Since I have a little girl, my Monday Muses have all previously featured celebrity moms and their mini-me's. I thought I'd start to throw in some outfit inspiration for little boys too, and Mason Disick's dapper look is the perfect place to start alongside his stylish mom, Kourtney Kardashian.

I have to admit that this is one of the most comfortable outfits I've styled for this blog. You really can't beat a pair of Converse kicks and worn-in boyfriend jeans; it's perfect weekend wear. Happy Friday!
When I found this recipe for mulled apple cider on the ModCloth blog, I knew I had to try it. I'm a big fan of mulled wine, and this is a perfect non-alcoholic alternative that the whole family can enjoy.
This Monday's muses are Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri. Katie's outfit is comfortably chic, while Suri is warm and cozy in her Uggs and puffer jacket. Here's a breakdown of their looks.

It's ironic that I titled this post "Side Tracked" back when these photos were first taken in the second week of January, because I actually got side tracked from publishing this post until now. It was meant to be a reference to the train tracks but it's become a literal title. Better late than never?
Fashion-wise, I've been living in these snakeskin-print jeans from the Gap and love the texture they give to an outfit. My JewelMint Black Swan Cuff is also a new favourite. I think all prints from the animal kingdom are slowly making their way into my closet.
January 2012 has come and gone, and so has the Photo a Day Challenge! I'm happy to report that I completed the challenge and as promised, I'm sharing my Instagram photos from the past 31 days. Big thanks to fat mum slim for such a fun challenge! Enjoy! (Day 1 above, days 2-31 in chronological order from left to right)
